VividAir Gives Back

At VividAir®, we do more than help companies improve their work environments — we also strive to make the world a better place. Our company is a proud supporter of The Cradle, one of the foremost adoption agencies in the country.

Since opening its doors in Evanston, Illinois in 1923, The Cradle has found permanent, loving families for more than 16,000 children. A licensed, not-for-profit, nonsectarian organization, The Cradle is committed to providing ethical services for pregnant women, infants, adoptive families and adopted people — and supporting its families for a lifetime.

The Cradle is profoundly grateful to Bill and Lisa Carlson for establishing the Go Fan Yourself Fund in support of two critical programs: Finding Families for Children (FFC) and the Center for Lifelong Adoption Support (CLAS).

The Cradle accepts any baby referred to their care, including those with serious special medical needs, and conducts nationwide searches for just the right adoptive families. Under FFC, The Cradle significantly underwrites the fees for parents who adopt a medically fragile child. Until they go home, these babies receive expert care in The Cradle’s onsite nursery, the only facility of its kind in the U.S. The agency fully funds 24/7 nursing care for Cradle babies.

Adoption can add a layer of complexity to a family. Through CLAS, adoptive families, adult adoptees and birth parents receive compassionate guidance and support to help navigate life’s challenges. Our adoption-competent therapists, who hold master’s-level degrees, offer individual and family counseling, as well as Theraplay® sessions for families with young children. Fees do not cover the full costs of providing these life-changing therapeutic services.
